Privacy policy
Last updated: 13 September 2026
This page explains, in plain words, how I handle the personal data of people who visit pionio.it or write to me through it. In short: I collect only what you send me, to answer you, plus some anonymous traffic statistics. No profiling cookies, and no data sold to anyone.
1. Who handles your data (controller)
The data controller is Ivan Pantò, a private individual who works under the name Pionio. For anything about privacy, write to pionio.dev@gmail.com.
2. What I collect and why
I handle your personal data in two cases only:
- The contact form. When you write to me through the form I receive what you enter: name, email, message and, if you fill them in, the project type, the budget and how you found me. I use them only to read and answer your request. Legal basis: replying to your request and any work you ask to start (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Anonymous traffic statistics. I use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see how many people visit the site and how fast it is. They use no cookies, don't identify you and don't follow you to other sites: the data is aggregated and anonymous. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in keeping the site working and improving it (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
For technical and security reasons (spam protection on the form) the system reads your IP address for a moment, without keeping it.
3. Cookies
The site uses no profiling or marketing cookies and installs no third-party advertising trackers, which is why there is no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to. The only thing the site stores in your browser is whether you closed the note about the other language. It is technical and needs no consent.
4. Who receives the data
I don't sell or hand over your data. I rely only on providers who act as data processors to make the site work:
- Resend: delivers the contact form email to my inbox.
- Vercel: hosts the site and provides the anonymous statistics.
These providers are based in the United States: any transfer of data outside the European Union relies on the safeguards the GDPR provides for (standard contractual clauses and equivalent mechanisms).
5. How long I keep it
The messages you send stay in my inbox for as long as it takes to handle your request and any follow-up; they don't go into any database. If you want me to delete our conversation, just ask. Traffic statistics are anonymous and aggregated, so they can't be traced back to you.
6. Your rights
At any time you can ask me to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy of what you gave me. Write to pionio.dev@gmail.com and I will reply. If you believe the handling breaks the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
7. Changes
If I change the tools or the way I handle data, I will update this page and the date at the top.
